Home of the Matildas

As Independent Commissioning Agents for Home of the Matildas, a new football centre for Football Victoria, our role is to oversee the commissioning process. We make sure the facility successfully operates as it gets ready to be showcased globally in the prestigious tournament, Women’s FIFA World Cup.

600 Collins

A very high profile and complex commercial project, where BASE as the Independent Commissioning Agent takes on the responsibility of overseeing and managing the commissioning process for Hines on their largest office development. We are required to implement system processes and procedures for all facets of the development, relating to commissioning and ultimately achieving successful integration and efficient functioning of all building systems and components.

Melton Hospital

As the Technical Advisor (TA) for Commissioning, BASE are responsible for overseeing and providing technical advice on the building services design and delivery from a commissioning perspective. This complex build includes high-end services systems which will operate a 24-hour emergency department, an intensive care unit, maternity and neonatal services, mental health services, radiology services and ambulatory care.

Microsoft Data Centres

As Commissioning Manager representing Kapitol Group, BASE were responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all services commissioning activities for MEL04 and MEL11 Data Centres. BASE ensures the project compliance with Microsoft stringent standards and procedures, assist in delivering the facility at premium standard.

51 Flinders Lane

As the Independent Commissioning Agent, BASE takes on the responsibility of overseeing and managing the commissioning process for the construction of two towers, one of 39 storeys and the other of 15 storeys, at 51 Flinders Lane, ensuring the seamless integration and optimal functioning of all building systems and components for the GPT Group.

Queens Wharf

As Commissioning Manager representing Multiplex, BASE plays a crucial role in delivering and handing over this highly intricate project. It involves over 3,500 commissionable systems, multiple moving parts and complex system integration. The project requires a strong level of organisation, planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning activities to ensure it meets the requirements of Destination Brisbane Consortium.

Museum of Old and New Art (MONA)

This highly complicated project involves stringent temperature & humidity controls, ongoing risk management assessments, and detailed Quality Assurance management processes to ensure the gallery spaces maintain their preservation, presentation, and impeccable display of rare and unique items within the space. As MONA’s Independent Commissioning Agent, we are responsible for ensuring these outcomes are met and no defect in system functionality occurs after building handover.

Adam’s strategic thinking and South East Water contacts resulted in a sewer diversion agreement that netted M&L significant additional ground floor retail space. While South East water were initially reluctant to consider the basement diversion, Adam’s focussed approach and reasoned argument resulted in an outstanding outcome for the development.
